DHS: Strategic Implementation Plan for Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United States

A new report (DEC 2011) from DHS outlines the department's strategic plan for working with local law enforcement authorities and non-governmental groups to identify and disrupt terrorist activities. Violent extremism is a real evolving threat that we in law enforcement must be prepared to deal with.
